Press Immunity has been claimed and applied to all participating news pages in the past, present, and future.

News stations are generally protected from lawsuits based on the content they broadcast under the doctrine of "press immunity." This doctrine is based on the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, which protects freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

Under press immunity, news organizations are generally immune from liability for defamation (libel and slander) and other civil claims based on the content of their broadcasts, as long as they did not act with actual malice. This means that they did not intentionally or recklessly publish false or misleading information.

News Station Collaboration Disclosure Statement

It is common for news organizations to work with other news organizations to share information, sources, and stories. This can be done through formal partnerships or collaborations or informally through relationships between journalists and editors at different organizations. It is generally considered ethical for news organizations to disclose when they are working with other news organizations on a story. This can help to ensure transparency and credibility and allow readers to understand the sources of the information they are receiving. It is also important for news organizations to respect the editorial independence of their partners and to avoid any conflicts of interest.
