Anderson Community Schools Move 5th Grade Back To Elementary Schools In The 2023-2024 School Year.

Currently our elementary schools have grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. On Tuesday evening the school board unanimously approved a proposal to move 5th grade back to our elementary schools. Since this will happen next year, our current 4th graders will remain at their current elementary school for 5th grade. Anderson Intermediate School will have only 6th grade students instead of 5th and 6th grade. As was shared Tuesday by Dr. Cronk, further plans are being discussed as to what additional programs and services will be added to the Anderson Intermediate School building.
