On 04/16/2023 at 1:47 am, the Anderson police responded to the area of Streaty Park (19th and Park Ave.) reference shots fired. Officers located evidence of gunfire along with property damage to a house and vehicle in that area. Officers also spoke with a female witness in the area at the time of the shooting, and she sustained a small cut to her hand, likely caused by a piece of glass. APD will closely monitor the area and conduct follow-ups with witnesses in the coming days.
