(Anderson, IN. ) Update- Hoosier Woods Shooting | Madison County News Network
Anderson, IN— On 05/22/2023, the Anderson Police responded to a report of a shooting
at an apartment in the 3900 block of Hoosier Woods Court. As officers arrived, they
located a female victim and rendered aid. The victim remains in serious but stable
condition at an Indianapolis hospital. Preliminary details depict that the alleged suspect
and victim were involved in a physical altercation before the shooting occurred.
The alleged suspect has been identified as Daemauze J. Red (19). Detective Cora Garcia
has followed up on multiple leads and submitted a Probable Cause Affidavit with the
Madison County Prosecutor’s Office, requesting the issuance of a warrant for his arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing.
