Anderson Police Department Needs Your Help Locating Shooting Suspect

On 11/23/2022, the Anderson Police responded to a report of shots fired in
the 3000 block of Columbus Avenue. As officers arrived on the scene, they located the victim
in an alley east of Columbus Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers secured the
scene and rendered aid. The victim was transported to a local Anderson hospital before
ultimately being transported to Indianapolis, where he remains in serious condition.
Preliminary details depict that Michael Dees (31) was shot by Britney Marling (37) during an
altercation. The Criminal Investigations Division was called to the scene, and the case
remains ongoing. We will release more details as they become available. Should you have

Emergency Responders were called out to the 3100 block of Columbus Ave; according to the scanner feed, a 31-year-old man was shot in the abdominal area, and at the time we were listening to the scanner, they did not have any information on the shooter, or why the victim was shot. The Anderson Police Department found three casings outside the apartments; this is a developing story, and no further information is available as of now.
