Anderson Police Investigate Shooting Of 15 Year Old.
The Anderson Police responded to the 2000 block of Beverly Court regarding a shooting.
As officers arrived, they secured the scene and located a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. The juvenile was transported to a local Anderson hospital for treatment.
Preliminary details depict that the victim and other juveniles were walking to a nearby convenience store when they were involved in a dispute with other subjects in the area. During the altercation, the victim was shot in the hand, and all other persons involved fled the scene.
The Criminal Investigations Division was called in to assist and interviewed witnesses and other subjects involved. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
