Anderson Police Seek Help To Identify Armed Robbery Suspect.

On Friday, February 11, 2022 The Anderson Police responded to an armed robbery at the Speedway near the intersection of 38th and S Scatterfield Road. A preliminary investigation revealed that a

white male subject entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.

The suspect then exited the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene west on

38th Street. The suspect was described to be in his early 20’s, wearing a black hooded coat,

red sweatpants, and a blue surgical mask over his face. Officers searched the area, and the

case remains under investigation.
