Anderson Women Found deceased in Front Yard Of Residence.
On Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 the Anderson Police responded to a female being located unresponsive in the 3300 block of Morton Street. Upon arrival, officers found the female deceased in the front
yard of a residence nearby. The female was identified as Katoria Owens (39) of Anderson.
The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and responded to the scene, and the
case remains under investigation. The Madison County Coroner's Office will officially
determine the cause of death during the autopsy scheduled for Monday, January 24th.
