Barricaded Suspect Situation Continues

Deputies remain on the scene of a barricaded suspect that began about 1:00 pm Friday. Deputies were attempted to serve an arrest warrant when the suspect barricaded himself in a house and threatened to shoot police.

The scene is near Cross Street and Rangeline Road in Anderson.

Schools have been released and children were never in danger. Roads in the area are blocked. There is no ongoing threat to the community due to this situation
