Shooting Suspect Flees
The Anderson Police Department responded to a subject being shot in the 2500 block of
Fletcher Street. As officers arrived, they located the victim and secured the scene. The victim was then
transported to a local Anderson Hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. Shortly after the incident, the police located the suspect vehicle that was said to be involved. As they attempted to stop the car, the driver refused to stop leading the police in pursuit. Multiple agencies were involved in the pursuit, and all suspects were ultimately apprehended north of Anderson near Alexandria. The suspects were placed into custody and returned to the Anderson Police Department. The case remains under investigation. More details will be released as they become available.
