Early Morning Foot Pursuit lands One Person In Jail.

On 12/15/2021 at 09:15 hours, the Anderson Police conducted a traffic stop near 53rd and Scatterfield Road.

The passenger in the vehicle, Christopher Dillard (48) of Anderson, was identified by the officer and confirmed warrants for his arrest both local and out of county. During the investigation, Dillard fled the scene on foot toward a wooded area behind Walmart on Scatterfield.

At this time, officers set up a perimeter. With the assistance of APD K-9’s and the thermal imaging capability from the APD drone, Dillard was located and placed into custody without further incident. We may update this story if we gather more info.
