Early Retirement Buyout Stipend Aims To Retire Forty Teachers.

The SCS board meeting revealed that they need at least 27 teachers to retire under the early retirement buyout stipend with a goal being 40. If they do not get 27 teachers eligible for this retirement stipend, then the school system can retract the $20,000 buyout payment. They can retract their retirement if that happens, but these teachers must make a decision by the end of January. The next meeting and vote are set for 11/30/2021 at 11:00 A.M.
