Fire Alarm at Longfellow Plaza Causes Evacuation

Units from the Anderson Fire Department are working a fire alarm at Longfellow Plaza. Buildings A and B were evacuated, and the tenants were sitting outside waiting for an outcome. We asked them if everyone was out, and they said no one was left in the buildings. Several apartment complex tenants said they are no stranger to fire alarms. Karen King, a resident, says she has problems with the wiring in her apartment, and several mentioned that they have a few concerns. The official cause of the fire alarm is unknown to us, but according to several, there was smoke in the maintenance room.
This is a developing story.
