Fire in Frankton on Maple Street 11/9/22
At around 3 P.M. today firefighters were called out to the 800 block of east Maple street for a working fire. Upon their arrival, they discovered an outbuilding fire. Witnesses said the power lines were on fire as well. Firefighters spent an hour and a half battling the blaze, the cause of the fire is still unknown to the Madison County News Network, we did not hear of any injuries but the outbuilding appears to be a total loss. If any new developments come from this story, we will update you here. Please remember, the county is in an elevated fire danger with the wind, warmer temperatures, and low humidity. Please refrain from open burning for the time being.
