Late Morning Crash Causes Headache For Many Drivers In Anderson.

On 12/09/2021 at 11:14 AM, the Anderson Police responded to a crash at the intersection of 53rd and Scatterfield Road.

A semi-truck traveling northbound on Scatterfield Road turned eastbound onto 53rd Street and struck a utility pole breaking the poll and utility lines to fall into the road and onto other cars.

The damage caused the utility pole to fall and damage other vehicles traveling in the northbound lane. Due to the crash, EMA was called for traffic and the intersection had to be closed until the investigation was completed.
