Long time public servant has passed. Honoring Wallace Covington

As the writer of this post, I can say that I had the great fortune to work with this great man over my 4 decades in public service. There are few out there that are as respected as he was.
This is from our friends at Frankton EMS:

It is with heavy heart that we write to share the loss Of one of our retired member. Wally passed away early Saturday morning in his own home. Wally will be remembered as a type of man that would give anyone the need“ the shirt off his back” He cared deeply for his patients, his teammates, and for the opportunity to put others before himself. He leaves behind patients he has treated, first responders he has educated, the people he mentored is immeasurable. We are very fortunate to have had the privilege of serving alongside a person like Wally. Frankton Ems is proud and thankful for Wally‘s service and for dedicating his time to the Frankton Ems. We will work with his family to provide support and any opportunity to help in gathering in honoring of his life. The arrangements are still pending at this time,
