New Year's Eve Shooting Leaves 1 Person Dead

The Anderson Police responded to a possible home invasion robbery in the

1700 block of Lockerbie Court. As officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a male

subject with injuries to his chest. Officers attempted CPR and medics transported the victim

to a local Anderson hospital, where he later died from his wounds.

The victim was identified as Devin Swain (24) of Anderson. The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and responded to the scene, and the case remains under investigation. The Madison County

Coroner's Office will officially determine the cause of death during the autopsy. Should you
