No Best-Way trash pick up on Friday and travel advisory update

Thanks to one of our members who shared this information from Best-Way trash:
WEATHER ALERT for Best Way Disposal A-Division (green) in ANDERSON, IN. Due to the ongoing bad weather in our area, we will be CLOSED Friday, February 4, 2022. Best Way Disposal will pick up all Friday routes on Saturday, February 5, 2022. We apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you!
ALSO: Madison County remains at the "orange" level for travel advisory. Orange level is a "watch" and is defined by the State DHS as: A watch means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a "watch" local travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations.
There have been several people who have messaged us " that Madison County should be red". There appears to be some misunderstanding about our page., WE have nothing to do with the county government decisions. We are a news reporting group. A couple of people have suggested, one rather strongly, that WE should put the county in red. We cannot do that and if you wish to voice your opinion on this matter you should send an email or text message to the County Commissioners, the Sheriff's Office, and DHS. They are the group of people who monitor the roads and make the ultimate decision on what level the county is at.
We continue to monitor the DHS website for travel advisories and IF Madison County goes red we will let you know.
