Pedestrian Struck By Train Ends In Fatality.

On Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, around 4:54 PM The Anderson Police responded to a male subject hit by a train south of the railroad crossing near 38th and Raible Avenue. As officers arrived, they located a deceased male subject on the railroad tracks between 38th and 53rd Street.

The Anderson Crash Team was on the scene, and the investigation was ultimately turned over to the CSX Police and the Madison County Coroner’s Office. As per policy, the deceased identity will be withheld until proper notifications can be made at that point we will update the story.
