Shooting Sends a Teenager to The Hospital 12/30/2022

Brief Summary: The Anderson Police responded to an area in the 700 block of W. 17th Street regarding a shooting. As officers arrived, they secured the scene and located a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. The juvenile was ultimately transported to a local Anderson hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. The Criminal Investigations Division was called in to assist and is collecting evidence from the scene and speaking with witnesses. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing. More details will be released as they become available.
