Three Arrests Made in Violent Cases- Click The Link To See This Story

All Subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Madison County Sheriff, Anderson Police, and DNR North District have been busy this week. We have not been given any details but Kenton Richard Clute of Anderson has been detained and accused by the Madison County Sheriff's Department and is being held in the Madison County Jail on a $20,000.00 cash-only bond. The court granted a 72-hour extension on detention allowing the state to have time to file formal charges and finds that probable cause exists.

The Anderson Police Department arrested Terry Davidson for strangulation and is being held in the Madison County Jail without bond. We were able to locate some information on MyCase about this and the state filed a notice for seeking a habitual offender status on May 17th

James Austin was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Madison County. The charges were filed in April of 2022 for burglary with a deadly weapon and is being held in the Madison County Jail on a $35,000.00 full cash bond. According to the MyCase Records he also is facing charges in Deleware County on an unrelated case from 2021 for auto theft and was out on bond.
