Winter Weather Coming - Prepare Now
Business Owners - Please Be Advised:
Forecasters across the country have been discussing this weather system over the last couple of days. We are bringing this up because this system appears to have a lot of snow and ice with it. These models are not pretty.
Business Owners- You should get on these tasks as soon as you can:
Make sure you get ice removal now, get your snow removal company lined up, watch your entry and exits, keep them clear and avoid slip-and-fall claims on your insurance.
Company vehicles and equipment - fill the fuel levels up, check your fluids and tires, lights and functionality.
Outside jobs - either wrap them up now or prepare your clients for weather-related delays.
Identify people on staff that live close, have four-wheel-drive and are willing to fill in for call-offs due to weather-related shutdowns.
Be mindful when ordering perishables and have alternative power sources in place.
Anything that is delivered or being shipped is going to be delayed, be mindful when discussing these issues with your customers.
Banking, financial needs, and anything related to it should be addressed as soon as possible as delays in deposits could happen that are outside of anyone's control.
